Data Scientist, Enterprise Analytics
Job Description & Overview
Fully remote role as the analytics partner to GitLab's Sales, Revenue Operations and Finance teams. Use statistics, experiments and machine learning to forecast results and find what drives activation, conversion, expansion and retention. Build and deploy ML models, run growth experiments, support executive reporting on ARR and consumption, and help build a semantic layer that people and AI agents can query directly.
Requirements & Key Qualifications
- 3–5 years in data science or go-to-market analytics
- A/B testing, causal inference, regression, classification, clustering
- Advanced SQL on cloud warehouses (Snowflake) plus Looker or Tableau
- Strong Python: pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost
- Hands-on experience building agentic workflows with AI coding agents
